This incredible burnt orange bed from Harrison Spinks was the starting point for this room's scheme. 'Beautifully feminine, contemporary, peaches and cream with a touch of dark edginess' was the clients brief. What a great brief which really gave my imagination a great feel and visual.

There is a walk-in-wardrobe and ensuite behind the bed, and the room itself had very generous proportions so we could include a couple of beautiful wooden chairs from Eichholtz and even a large elegant sideboard from Julian Chichester, my favourite piece though had to be the brass wheat side table; so whimsical.

The room's colour palette radiates warmth with peaches, creams, oranges and browns.

So feminine with the cream satin bed throw and delicate brass acrylic fluted lights and such a contrast with 'a touch of edge' we introduced darker brutalist artwork and a matching rug into the space.
