Oak House

Bathroom

The ensuite had an outdated design, featuring a brown mosaic tile scheme that was popular in the noughties. With this gloomy palette, malfunctioning cabinets, and a sauna that had been relegated to laundry storage, the client had a strong aversion to it.

Given that the property was Edwardian, we decided to invest in a design that echoed the elegance of that era, ensuring its timelessness. Which we did through the patterned tile selection.

In addition to renovating the ensuite, we also took on the task of revitalising the master bedroom, which featured an oriental theme with a colour scheme of blue, red and grey. So to ensure flow through the connecting spaces we selected the blue and grey to pull through and added a subtle oriental wallpaper.

To breathe new life into the ensuite, we installed a custom double vanity and premium hardware fittings, we took out the underused sauna and replaced it with a spacious open-sided shower. Additionally, we introduced classic pocket doors with frosted glass, enhancing both the functionality and aesthetics of the space.
