Meadowcroft House
Guest Bedroom
The room in question had long been neglected, serving as a lackluster guest room that didn't reflect the clients' desire to provide a welcoming and proud space for their friends and family. To infuse new life and character into this room, I suggested a bold and dramatic transformation by taking the dated and unloved green wardrobes and painting them an intense black.
This decision was met with some initial trepidation from the client, but the results were nothing short of stunning, and they quickly fell in love with the bold choice. The black wardrobe transformation not only breathed new life into the room but also added a sense of classic elegance, giving the wardrobes a fantastic facelift and making them the room's focal point.
To complement the revamped wardrobe, we had a custom wooden bed crafted for the room. To add more character and style, we incorporated bone inlay side tables that brought an exotic touch to the decor. Finally, we adorned the bed with a gorgeous Soho Home bed throw featuring oversized tassels, adding a final touch of luxury and comfort to this newly revitalised guest room. The room was no longer unloved; it had become a space to be proud of and to warmly welcome their guests.
