Illuminate Gaia
Spa
This concept is designed for Illuminate Gaia Spa, where the spa experience begins the moment clients step through the entrance. Balancing comfort with a professional atmosphere is a delicate art, and your waiting room should reflect your brand's essence while enhancing the tranquil, guest-centric spa experience you aim to provide.
For the interior design, we opted for a soft, calming, neutral colour palette to establish a serene atmosphere. We introduced luxury and visual interest by layering various materials and textures, such as glossy tiles, terrazzo, concrete, brass, wood, bouclé fabric, marble, and lime wash paint.
To break up the spacious area, we incorporated a room divider that separates the reception from the lounge area. This divider, constructed from wood with a gracefully draped voile curtain, adds intrigue with its partial opaqueness. Our choice of furniture and decor features rounded shapes and organic elements, including spherical wooden chairs, tree stump coffee tables, and leaf-inlaid brass doors. We also introduced an ambiance-enhancing fire and water feature and unique elements like grand pillars and a glowing acrylic step.
Crafting the ideal spa waiting room goes beyond selecting comfortable furnishings and a colour palette. It involves creating a sanctuary of wellness by harmoniously blending sound, colour, fragrance, taste, and even temperature.
