This picturesque country house boasted a relaxed, natural style, featuring stone windows and exposed beams that deserved decor to complement its inherent charm. However, the previous decoration was in conflict with the house's character. Swagged curtains, large tassels, and intricate patterns overwhelmed the house and diverted attention from its natural beauty. Our goal was to remove this clutter and let the house's unique style shine through by embracing a selection of natural and organic materials, including wood, boucle, and linen.

In the master bedroom, we embarked on a transformation by re-creating a luxury Savoir Bed with one of our esteemed trade suppliers. We added elegant Kelly Wearstler bedside lamps and carefully curated a collection of luxurious De Le Cuona cushions. To complete the bedroom's new look, we commissioned a custom beveled wooden vanity crafted by one of our skilled joiners.

This project is an ongoing endeavor as we systematically work through each room in the house. We began by replacing all the curtains to achieve an instant refresh. Instead of curtains dominating the decor and obstructing light and views, the property is now adorned with neutral contemporary curtains that enhance the windows and complement classic decor. These curtains are designed to withstand the test of time, serving as a backdrop to an evolving interior and proving to be a wise investment.
