THE LONSDALE APARTMENT

Once dominated by brown cabinetry, beige finishes and basic furnishings, this duplex holiday apartment was ready for a more memorable identity. The clients wanted the character and sense of escape of a boutique hotel, with colour, personality and thoughtful details throughout.

We introduced rich blues, soft pinks and fresh greens, layering patterned fabrics, distinctive wallpapers and carefully chosen furniture. A deep blue velvet sofa anchors the living space, while decorative blinds, floral curtains and colourful upholstery bring warmth and playfulness. The kitchen takes on a brighter character with pale cabinetry and patterned tiles, and each bedroom has its own identity through statement headboards, expressive prints and contrasting textures.

The result is a welcoming retreat with a sense of occasion: comfortable enough to settle into, yet distinctive enough to make a stay feel special.
