RAMBUTTRI THAI
Rambuttri draws inspiration from a tranquil corner of Bangkok and its serene koi carp pond, creating a warm, inviting Thai restaurant that balances vibrant colour with a moody, intimate atmosphere.
Dark woods, rich fabrics and golden accents are paired with a palette inspired by traditional Thai Phrae Wa silk: deep blues, earthy browns, greens, oranges and reds. Blue limewash walls evoke calm waters, with koi carp, moon reflections and lily-pad-inspired lighting bringing the concept to life. Authentic Thai craft pieces, a crane mural and lush overhead foliage add cultural character and tropical warmth.
Bespoke doors and dividers combine intricate wooden frames with textured glass, while custom upholstered chairs and benches introduce luxurious patterned fabrics from Casamance and Kai. A statement golden chain chandelier sits alongside woven grass, metal mesh and tassel lighting, creating layers of texture and atmosphere. A striking Thai rug finishes the bar, adding further richness and colour.
The result is an immersive dining space in Leeds, bringing together Thai craftsmanship, references to nature and thoughtful detailing.
