This cool loft apartment, located in the heart of Manchester, presented an exciting design opportunity. The goal was to avoid creating a sterile and impersonal space, opting instead for a rich, inviting atmosphere with a dark and moody ambiance.

The client's preference for the colour blue served as a central theme. To achieve this, we embarked on layering various tones of blue throughout the apartment. This approach allowed for depth and complexity in the colour scheme, creating visual interest and a sense of coherence.

To add texture and dimension to the space, we employed a combination of materials, specifically tile and textured lime wash paint. The strategic use of tile brought a tactile element to the design, while lime wash paint contributed to the moody, velvety effect that the client desired. By artfully blending these elements, we were able to craft a loft apartment that not only showcased the client's favourite colour but also delivered a unique and atmospheric living environment, rich in character and personality. The end result was a space that truly resonated with the client's vision and provided a striking and comfortable urban retreat in the heart of the city.
