Magnolia place

The house, initially named 'Magnolia Place,' felt rather bland to the client (colour wise). They were determined to inject a burst of vibrancy and creativity into their living space, bidding farewell to the ubiquitous magnolia. The client's vision was clear: they craved a fun, quirky, textured, and exciting atmosphere, steering away from overly serious decor.

During our creative meeting, the client's enthusiasm was palpable, especially when they expressed their fondness for images featuring blocks of mixed pastel colours, akin to those presented in the moodboard. This revelation set the style direction for the project. To harmonise the diverse palette of colours, we sought a central element in the room that would bring these hues together, be it through artwork or a rug. Our search led us to an incredible Harlequin rug that incorporated all the colours from our chosen palette, serving as the perfect unifying piece.

Incorporating playful materials like acrylic furniture, unexpected bursts of coloured metal, and strategically placed round wall lights, we brought the client's vision to life and transformed 'Magnolia Place' into an energetic and lively living space.
